On Saturday, September 26, 2026, the C-Codes Student Chapter, under the
coordination of Prof. Amey Kerkar and in association with the Inner Wheel
Club of Porvorim, hosted an expert talk titled "Agentic AI and Workflow
Automation using n8n" for third-year Computer Engineering students.
The expert talk was delivered by Prof. Komala Soares, Head of the Electronics
Engineering Department at Government Polytechnic, Panaji and Mr. Blasio
Dias.
This session provided students with practical expertise in next-generation
autonomous AI.
Prof. Soares detailed the evolution from conventional chatbots to goal-oriented
agentic systems, emphasizing key n8n features such as Docker self-hosting,
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) integration, and continuous VPS
deployment.
Through hands-on laboratory exercises, participants developed a multimodal
Telegram bot and automated attendance-tracking workflows, complemented by
an industry demonstration by Blasio Dias featuring a GDPR-compliant FIFA
World Cup 2026 application built with Lovable AI.
The session successfully equipped attendees with actionable competencies in
API integration, node-based conditional logic, and cloud automation strategies.
