Report on PPT Competition – National Space Day 2026

As part of the National Space Day 2026 celebrations, the Goa State Council for Science and Technology organized a District-Level PPT Competition on the theme “Towards Viksit Bharat: Innovating, Collaborating and Aspiring to Global Space Leadership.” The event was held at the Goa Science Centre, Miramar on 3rd & 4th September 2026 .

Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, participated in the competition with three students:

1 Suzane Andra – TE Electronics and Computer Science
2 Aaron Fernandes – SE Civil Engineering
3 Shaun Agnel Fernandes – TE Computer Engineering

The students presented their ideas on the given theme and showcased their understanding of emerging technologies, innovation, and India's growing role in the global space sector.

The college is pleased to share that two of our students secured prizes in the competition:

• Suzane Andra (TE ECS) – 2nd Place
• Shaun Agnel Fernandes (TE Computer Engineering) – 3rd Place

The achievement reflects the students' hard work, creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm towards emerging technological domains. Their success has brought recognition to Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, and serves as an encouragement for other students to participate in such academic and technical competitions.

The participation and achievements of the students were appreciated, and they were felicitated during the Prize Distribution Ceremony.
