Students Induction Prgrogamme 2026-27

Session 1: Vision and Mission of the Department, Accreditation, Departmental Laboratories, Departmental Association etc. Dr. Shwetha Prasanna, HOD, Civil Engineering Department, conducted an informative session covering the Vision and Mission of the Department, Accreditation, Departmental Laboratories, Departmental Association, and other aspects related to the functioning of the Civil Engineering Department. Subsequently, she conducted a quiz based on the topics covered to assess and reinforce the students’ understanding and learning outcomes.

Session 2: Innovative Projects
A session on Innovative Projects was conducted for First-Year Civil Engineering students, wherein Mrs. Prachi Dessai, Faculty of Civil Engineering Department, introduced students to a range of innovative and practical project topics. The session focused on the key components of a successful project, including project data, objectives, methodology, expected outcomes, and potential local applications

Session 3: Basic Tools Used in AutoCAD
Mrs. Vanessa Fernandes, conducted a workshop on the Basic Tools Used in AutoCAD, followed by a small competition to assess and encourage the students’ practical application of the concepts covered during the session.
