The students were organized into batches of seven students each for the activity.

Session 10: workshop on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

A workshop on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) was conducted by Mrs. Shruti Jambhale for the Civil Engineering students to familiarize them with the principles, methods, and practical applications of NDT in the assessment of concrete and other construction materials. The workshop provided students with an understanding of how the strength, quality, durability, and integrity of structures can be evaluated without causing damage to the structure. The session covered commonly used NDT methods such as Rebound Hammer Test, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) Test, and other techniques used for evaluating concrete quality.

Session 11: Tape Measurements and the Use of Scientific Calculators

A session on Tape Measurements and the Use of Scientific Calculators was demonstrated by Mrs. Swaroopa Sail for the First year Civil Engineering students. The session focused on developing students’ practical skills in accurate measurement, recording of dimensions, and basic calculations commonly required in Civil Engineering fieldwork.

Session 12: Building Information Modelling (BIM)

An introductory session on Building Information Modelling (BIM) was conducted by B. R Anirudha for the first Civil Engineering students to familiarize them with the fundamentals, applications, and importance of BIM in the modern construction industry.
