Session 13: Artificial Intelligence in Civil Engineering
A session on Artificial Intelligence in Civil Engineering was conducted by Mrs. Nadya Baracho for the First Year Civil Engineering students .The session introduced students to the emerging applications of Artificial Intelligence in the civil engineering profession. Mrs. Nadya explained how AI and related technologies such as Generative AI, BIM, and predictive analytics are changing conventional civil engineering practices. She further went on to explain how current research showed AI being applied in civil Engineering areas including structural design, structural health monitoring, construction management, etc.
