3-D Printing practical workshop

C-CODES, in association with Department of Computer Engineering and Alumni Committee, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda had organized a hands-on 3-D Printing practical workshop on March 20, 2023. The session was attended by S.E. and T.E. computer students.

The session began with a welcome address by Prof. Merwyn D’Souza. The session was addressed by Mr. Rajdutt Kenkre (DBCE Alumni – 2018 batch and working at Goa state innovation council). It started with the explanation of tinkercad, an online platform for designing. The session was very interesting and provided lots of information. Mr Rajdutt said that “3D printing turns digital files into physical objects by building them layer-by-layer.

What set this session apart from other workshops is that the students designed the models and 3D-printed them on a 3D printer themselves!
