Entrepreneurs Day Celebration

Don Bosco College of Engineering celebrated Entrepreneurs Day on 21^st August 2024, with “Entrepreneurs Pitch-It” competition – an exciting event aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among students.

The competition featured six teams from the Computer Engineering department, each delivering creative pitches for popular products. The event highlighted the students’ skills in marketing, product innovation, and presentation.

The following teams emerged as the winners of the Competition:

• 1st Place: Serial Pitchers
  Team Members: Anuj Shivanand Gaude, Swagata Sunil Talekar, Lauren Jovan Rodrigues, Ashden Mascarenhas
• 2nd Place: Pitch Masters
  Team Members: Hitesh K. Naik, Rushil R. Thampan, Jonathan A. Fernandes
• 3rd Place: Pitch Plus
  Team Members: Sandeep Sawant, Thushar Jithendran, Shreyash Mangeshkar, Sreehari Pillai, Somuraj Dessai

The prizes were awarded by our Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar, who praised the students for their creativity and dedication. The event was judged by Mr. Shravan Hegde, Co-Founder & CTO of Contractzy, and Mr. Pranay Vernekar, Team Lead at Creative Capsule Infotech, whose expertise provided valuable feedback to the participants.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Janhavi Naik and C-Codes Coordinator and Prof. Merwyn D’souza, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the competition. It was a resounding success, showcasing the entrepreneurial talent within our college and encouraging students to pursue innovation and creativity in their academic and professional careers.
