ISHRAE Field Visit to Scoop Industries Pvt. Ltd
On 9th November 2024, the ISHRAE DBCE Student Chapter organized an industrial visit to Scoop Industries Pvt. Ltd., a leading producer of oxygen, nitrogen, and dry ice, as well as a distributor of various industrial gases
During the visit, students gained exposure to advanced refrigeration and cryogenic systems used in gas liquefaction processes. The team at Scoop Industries provided students with an in-depth view of the production methods for liquefying gases and the technology behind maintaining cryogenic temperatures essential for these applications.
The experience enhanced the students’ practical understanding of complex industrial systems, offering them insights into real-world applications of engineering principles in gas production and handling. The visit also enriched the students’ knowledge of very low-temperature refrigeration systems and cryogenics.
