FDP (Faculty Development Programme) on EFFECTIVE TECHNICAL PAPER WRITING

The Training & Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized a FDP (Faculty Development Programme) on EFFECTIVE TECHNICAL PAPER WRITING for the teaching faculty of Don Bosco College of Engineering on Friday, 30 November 2018 at the Institute.

At the onset of the FDP, Prof. Avila Naik highlighted the importance of training programmes for the faculty. The session was conducted by Dr. Varsha Turkar, Professor, Department of Electronics & Telecommunication, Don Bosco College of Engineering. In this session, she provided inputs on the specific formats in Technical Paper Writing such as IEEE, and other formats. She also guided the faculty on how to write references and citations in the papers with a scientific attitude and in a precise manner. She advised the faculty to visit websites such as Scopus, ResearchGate, ORCID and use them to access, refer and upload the published papers.
