Talk on Career in Civil Services

The Training and Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering arranged a Talk with the NEXT IAS Institute as a part of the Series on Alternate Careers after Engineering for the Third Year and Final Year Engineering Students from Computers, Mechanical, Civil and Electronics & Telecommunication on Friday, 08 February 2019 at the campus.

The three areas of preparation of UPSC examination was explained by Mr. Mohit Sharma, Mechanical Engineer and Alumnus of IIT Kanpur with a rich experience of IAS and IES examination and an expert faculty in UPSC general studies. He explained the importance of UPSC and the role it plays in the society, he also spoke in a detailed manner the process of UPSC examination. He displayed the sample questions papers related to these exams.

Mr. Moti Ur Rahman,  IPS Officer with 154 rank in 2018 narrated his experience and journey of four years in UPSC preparation. He also answered all the queries in the Question Answer Round.  The talk ended with our student, Mr. Samuel Crasto who thanked NEXT IAS Team for the interactive session and inputs. Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar presented a letter of appreciation to the NEXT IAS Team.
