One day Webinar on Graph Theory and Applications- An Overview

The Department of Computer Engineering , Government Polytechnic, Daman organised a   one day webinar on Graph Theory and Applications- An Overview  on July 15, 2020. The resource persons for the webinar Dr. Jessica  Pereira , Department of Mathematics,Goa University and Mrs. Natasha D’souza e Jaques, Department of Science & Humanities, Don Bosco College of Engineering introduced various graph theoretic concepts and research applications to the participants.

Dr. Aruna Govada – HOD Computer Engineering, introduced the resource persons and Dr. Suhas Patil- Principal,Goverenment Polytechnic , Daman welcomed the resource persons and participants to the webinar.

The morning session began with Mrs. Natasha D’souza e Jaques speaking about Applications of graph theory in real world, Isomorphism of graphs, Mycielski constructions of graphs and  Graph colouring.

Dr. Jessica Pereira , in her session engaged the participants in learning the concepts of Eulerian graphs, Hamiltonian graphs, Dominating sets, Graph labelling  and other research applications.

The participants included faculty and students. Questions were posed during the sessions. A total of 70 participants attended the webinar.

The webinar ended with concluding remarks from Shr. VandanBabu T., who appreciated the resource persons for the concepts and the content that was delivered during the webinar .Dr. Prashanth D. delivered the vote of thanks.
