Report of Webinar on New Education Policy (NEP)

The Training and Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda-Goa organized webinar for faculty on topic New Education Policy (NEP). Webinar was held on 25^th September 2020 on Google meet from 11 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. The resource person for the webinar was Mr. Manu Sakunia, Career Counsellor. The webinar was organised with the help of Regional Employment Exchange, Panaji Goa.

The speaker spoke the current education policy and how NEP is going to change the scenario. He mentioned the drawbacks of current system and how NEP aims to achieve better results. The speaker mentioned the aims and objectives of NEP and how it is going to enhance skills of students and make them employable in the industry.  Speaker explained how NEP is beneficial to the faculties and Higher Education Institutes (HEI). The faculty asked a lot of questions which were eagerly answered by the speaker. Dr. Neena Panandikar thanked the speaker for sharing the valuable information and suggested that Don Bosco College of Engineering welcomes NEP and already working in the direction suggested by NEP. Dr. Shreyas Simu, ATPO thanked the speaker for his time and for delivering a wonderful session. He also thanked Mr. Rajat from Regional Employment Exchange and other faculties for joining the webinar and having a good discussion.
