IIC webinar on “Incubation Opportunities for students and faculty”

Institution’s Innovation Cell (IIC) of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda-Goa organized a webinar on Incubation Opportunities for students and faculty on June 28, 2021. Members of IIC, faculty and students of Don Bosco College of Engineering attended the meet. It was held in online mode.

 The resource person for the webinar was Mr. Rohin Parkar who is the co-founder & CEO of Spintly. Mr.Rohin shared a very meaningful piece of information to students and faculty who were keen to evolve as entrepreneurs, i.e to articulate a problem statement.

He went on to say “Entrepreneurs should launch their minimum viable product (MVL).” Mr. Parkar guided the audience on how they can take benefits from various schemes, market development assistance and funding schemes by creating a perfect prototype from their idea. He spoke about the accelerator program and listed several books which would be helpful when creating a startup. He also answered staff and students questions and gave them clarity on how they can take up their idea as a successful business plan. Dr. Gaurang S Patkar, the coordinator of the event thanked him for his time and valuable knowledge.
