Blood Donation Camp

The NSS unit of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda in association with Blood Bank, Hospicio Hospital, Margao conducted a blood donation camp in the institute premises on 20^th May 2022. A six member team of blood bank headed by Dr Ravin Rego, visited the institute for the blood collection. Also present were Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal, and Dr. Kala Nayak, Registrar. Altogether 71 students and staff of DBCE came forward to donate blood. However due to haemoglobin, pressure and other medical conditions, 20 could not donate. In all 51 students and staff donated blood and helped save many lives. This is the first blood donation camp conducted by the NSS unit in this academic year (2021-2022) and was coordinated by Prof. Harison Cotta and  Prof. Chetan Gaonkar, NSS Program Officer.
