DBCE organizes Workshop on IOT & its Safety Applications

The Mechanical Engineering Department of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda organized a one day workshop on IOT & its Safety Applications for the students of the institution in association with Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI), Goa Chapter on 28^th September 2019. The resource person for the workshop was Ms. Sunaya Shirodkar, Director of Asier Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The topics covered were Arduino, Node MCU and its practical applications. Around 35 students attended the program. For the valedictory function, Mr. Vinod Rodrigues, CWC member of FSAI, Goa Chapter was present as the chief guest. He spoke about importance of technology in Fire Safety & security and elaborated on a tagline ‘Protect the Protector’. Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz mentioned about sharing the knowledge they have gained with others. Then the certificates were distributed to the participants. The program ended with vote of thanks by Mr. Tejas Pandit, FSAI, DBCE Chapter President. Prof. Ajit Salunke, HOD Mechanical and Prof. Saurabh Raikar were the coordinators for the workshop.
