DBCE Signs 23 MOU’s
There is always a talk about the gap between academia and industry. To bridge the gap, Don Bosco College of Engineering signed 23 MoUs on 15th October 2019 at the Taleigao Community hall under the auspices of the inaugural of the Centre for Excellence for Employability Enhancement (CEEE) which is the brainchild of the Directorate of Technical Education. CEEE was officialy inaugurated by the Hon. Chief Minister – Dr Pramod Sawant who spoke about the paradigm shift from learning based projects to Project based learning. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Mr. Vishwajit Rani – Minister for Health, Industries, Trade and Commerce and MLA Subhash Shirodkar – Chairman of Goa Housing Board, Education Secretary Ms. Nila Mohanan. The event also saw keynote addresses from Mr. Ajai Chowdhury, HCL Co Founder, Prof M.P. Poonia, Vice Chairman AICTE, Mr Sitaram Kandi, VP-HR, Tata Motors, and Mr. Pratapsinh Desai, President – ISTE.
Don Bosco College of Engineering who had initiated MoUs quite early on, signed 23 MoUs on the day with prestigious companies in and around Goa. The companies who signed MoU were Mrinq Technologies, Enviro Guru (OPC) Pvt Ltd., Sun 360, Inficorridor Solutions Pvt Ltd – Mumbai, Autotech Builds Automation, Eduvance, Vanmat Technologies Pvt Ltd – Mumbai, Association of Consulting Civil Engineers, India (ACCE), Alcon India LLP, Nanu Enterprises, Prism Johnson Pvt Ltd – RMC India, Ultratech Cements, Cloud Counselage Mumbai, Goa Technology Association, Xerviz Wlobal, Earnestek, Sanofi India, Turbocam India, Astra Metal Systems Pvt Ltd, Abhishek Alloys Pvt Ltd, Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Pvt Ltd, Expert Engineering Solutions, Belgavi and Belgaum Auto Works.
