The DBCE Startup Policy is aligned with the ‘National Innovation and Startup Policy 2019’ (NISP) launched by the Ministry of Education. This forward-looking initiative represents a monumental step towards nurturing a dynamic ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship within the college campus.

By adopting this policy, DBCE seeks to provide a framework that encourages students, faculty, and aspiring entrepreneurs to explore innovative ideas, translate them into viable ventures, and contribute to the broader socio-economic development. The policy is designed to support budding entrepreneurs by offering them resources, mentorship, and a conducive environment to bring their startup ideas to life.

Mr. Pranay Prabhu Gaonkar, while unveiling the policy, expressed optimism about the future of innovation in educational institutions like DBCE. He emphasized that such policies empower the next generation of leaders, creators, and changemakers.

The DBCE Startup Policy is expected to pave the way for students and faculty alike to engage in entrepreneurial endeavours, thus positioning the institution as a hub of innovation in the region.
