Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) Report
Don Bosco College of Engineering kick started a three day Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (EAC) on 10th August 2017. Speaking on the occasion of the inaugural, the Chief Guest Mr. Manguirish Pai Raiker, Chairman, National Council of MSME, encouraged the students to dream with their eyes open. He urged the students to take risks and to nurture their ideas to reality. The EAC is sponsored under the DST-NIMAT Programme.
Earlier, Director Fr. Kinley DCruz motivated the students to let their ideas take flight while Principal Dr. Neena Panandikar explained how entrepreneurship is a strong option for the future.
Prof. Roseline Fernandes, EAC Coordinator explained the schedule of the workshop and the various speakers lined during the three day programme.
The camp concluded on 12th August 2017. Anay Kamat, Farheen Sayed, Gilbert Mendes, P.P. Kulkarni were some of the speakers who spoke for the camp.
The camp saw active participation from the final yea students who were made aware of the various rules, regulations, documentation required to start their own business. The students were told about funding opportunities and entrepreneurs from across Goa shared their life journey.
