Farewell for BE ETC Engineering Students

On 3^rd May 2018, farewell for BE ETC engineering students was held in the auditorium of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda. The farewell commenced at 10:00 am with the farewell march by the BE students with everyone wearing their graduation hats. The comperes for the formal function were Miss Fayiza Fathimat and Miss Rakshata Naik. The function started with a motivational video by the Director, Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, depicting daily life scenarios about how we keep chasing for things that are so near. Our Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar addressed the students on the essentials of life. At the end the Head of the Department (HOD) Mrs. Michelle Araujo gave the students her best wishes.

After the speech, the best outgoing student award was given to Miss Anthea Fernandes by the Director and the Principal.

A short video was played covering some nostalgic memories of the BE students. The formal function ended with the cutting of the farewell cake.

The program continued with the informal function which was compered by Mast. Leejoy Pereira and Samson Pereira. It started off with a hula-hoop game. It was then followed by a live music performance by the band from TE ETC. Prof. Deron Rodrigues and Prof. Yeshudas Muttu sang a farewell song for the students and Mast. Sairaj Kakodkar performed a dance. The students had fun playing and dancing for the paper dance game.

The farewell ended well with a group photograph and handing over the mementos to the BE students. Delicious snacks were served to all the students present for the program. The students spent some time with each other, collecting some more memories, clicking selfies and bidding farewell to each other. The coordinators for the farewell were TE-ETC students along with Prof. Flavia Leitao and Prof. Yeshudas Muttu.
