Guest Lecture on “Recent Trends in Manufacturing” at Government Polytechnic Bicholim

The Mechanical Engineering Department of Government Polytechnic Bicholim organized an insightful guest lecture on “Recent Trends in Manufacturing” on 14^th August 2024. The event aimed to provide students with exposure to the latest industry practices and emerging technologies.

The session was conducted by Mr. Gaurish Samant, Assistant Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), who was invited as the resource person. Mr. Samant shared his extensive knowledge on the subject, covering the latest advancements and trends in the manufacturing sector.

Mr. Samant discussed the evolution of manufacturing technologies, emphasizing the significance of automation, Industry 4.0, and sustainable practices in modern manufacturing. He highlighted how these advancements are reshaping the industry, leading to more efficient production processes and higher-quality products.
