INTERCLASS FUTSAL

The first year (FE) Computer Engineering students triumphed in the Fe Derby by beating first year ECS sudents by a solitary goal in the recently concluded Interclass Futsal Championship. This 6-a-side competition involved 1 girl playing at all times. Both, first year ECS and Computer Engineering students beat all the odds and reached the finals. They both enjoyed the underdogs tag for most of the tournament.

In the finals, it was Preetam Bhat who managed to score the decisive goal from a quick counter attack. Director – Rev. Fr Kinley D’Cruz and the Rector- Rev. Fr Ralin D’souza were the dignitaries present for the final. Both the dignitaries congratulated the teams before the start of the match.

For the closing ceremony , Sports Secretary- Mr. Lyzander Gomes  proposed the vote of thanks. The best player of the Tournament (Male) went to Preetam Bhat of FE Computer Engineering and the best player of the Tournament (Female) was awarded to Ms. Sarah Fernandes of FE ECS.

The 2 week long tournament concluded with the presentation of the rolling trophy to the FE Computer Engineering team by Rev. Fr.Ralin D’souza and Rev. Fr.Kinley D’Dcruz.
