NDLI Session on Discipline: the Secret Sauce to Success

The Civil Engineering Department of Don Bosco College of Engineering Fatorda in collaboration with the NDLI Club organized a talk on “Discipline: the Secret Sauce to Success”, by Mr. Pravin Kakode, Executive Director- Upgrade Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. Managing partner- Kakode Training LLP for all civil engineering students.

The event commenced with a warm welcome from Asst. Prof.. Shruti Jambhale. Mr. Pravin emphasized the fundamentals and life skills required for success: Interpersonal skills, money management skills and priority management skills.

He encouraged the students to learn the discipline of execution to focus on critical grade, act or lead measures, create a compelling scoreboard and to create a system of accountability. He said that every average idea if executed well will have great value and defined the success as sum total of intention, preparation and practice.

The talk ended with a quote which read, ”Suffer the pain of discipline ot the pain of regret”. It was highly enlightening and beneficial to all attendees. It was effective talk with active learning and student involvement.
