Participation in Intercollegiate Taekwondo Championship

Don Bosco College of Engineering team participated in the Intercollegiate Taekwondo Championship with a total of four players representing the institution in both the men’s and women’s categories.

In the Men’s category, Mr. Sanjeev Parab showcased an impressive performance, winning two matches in a row. However, his journey was halted in the quarterfinals, where he faced a opponent from Rosary College.

Mr. Alieaster Fernandes also put up a commendable fight but lost his quarterfinal match against a player from Rosary College.

In the Women’s Category, Ms. Sachi Bokade faced a tough challenge and was unable to secure a win in her match against Rosary College. Ms. Zoe Zuzarth competed with determination but was defeated in her match against Don Bosco Panjim.

Despite the losses in the quarterfinals, the participants demonstrated skill and sportsmanship, making the college proud with their efforts. The experience gained in this tournament will undoubtedly contribute to their growth and future success in the sport.
