Poster Competition in Observance of Anti-Ragging Week

In observance of Anti-Ragging Day on 12^th August 2024, followed by Anti-Ragging Week, a Poster Design Competition was organized for first-year students of Don Bosco College of Engineering. The event, conducted by the college’s Anti-Ragging Squad in collaboration with SEEDS, the First-Year Engineering Students’ Association of the Science and Humanities Department, encouraged students to showcase their creative ideas on combating ragging in educational institutions using graphic design software.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Ajit Salunke and Prof. Vaishali Parakhi, and the competition was judged by Prof. Sachin Turi and Mr. Sartak Naik, Alumnus of the Mechanical Engineering Department. Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar commended the students for their originality and creative ideas. This initiative, supported by UGC and AICTE, aimed to raise awareness about the menace of ragging. The winners are to be felicitated during the Inaugural Ceremony of SEEDS 2024-25.
