Report of BE Mechanical Farewell 2019
On the 29th April 2019, Don Bosco College of Engineering bid FAREWELL to final year students of batch 2015 – 2019, hosted and organized by students of third year (MECHANICAL) and faculty, to bid farewell to the final year (MECHANICAL) students
The celebration began at 2:00 pm, with a performance by Miss. Benecia Colaco and Mr. Aloyious The dignitaries on the dais were Rev. Fr. Kinley D’ Cruz, Director, Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal, Prof. Ajit Salunke, HOD- Mechanical Department
Principal, Dr. Neena Panandikar, welcomed the gathering and spoke to the students about the experience of the staff and students and congratulated them. Director Rev. Fr. Kinley D’ Cruz, gave an enlightening speech, guiding the students to face the challenges awaiting them. Prof. Ajit Salunke urged and motivated the students to take up challenges and have a mindset to think out of the box followed with the distribution of Certificate to the Outstanding students. The award for “BEST OUTGOING STUDENT” was bestowed to Mr. Joel Colaco for his all-rounder performance throughout his academic years. Mr. Sanket Mandrekar and Mr. Deepak Kolur were awarded “BEST DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI” for their constant support to the college after their graduation.
It was an occasion for the outgoing students to look back at the time that they spent in the Campus and the education that they acquired during the period. Some nostalgic memories of the final year students of their journey in Don Bosco College of Engineering were screened through a slideshow presentation, prepared by the students of Third year (Mechanical) Students. A few students shared their experiences they had in college, thanking one another, the management and faculty of the college for all the support, motivation and guidance.
After refreshing on some relishing snacks, the celebration continued with lots of games and fun sessions including Cake cutting. The event concluded with a group snap and words of appreciation by BE MECH students. Mr. Reuben Gouveia Compared the event, the event was organized by the Third-year Mechanical students and was coordinated by Prof. Divyajeet Naik.
