The NSS unit of Don Bosco college of Engineering, Fatorda in association with Blood Bank, Hospicio, Margao conducted a blood donation camp in the institute premises on November 9, 2023. A eight member team headed by Dr. Ravin Rego and Dr. Sasha Viegas from Hospicio Blood Bank visited the institute for the blood collection. Also present was Mr. Harison Cota, NSS Program Officer, DBCE. Altogether 70 students and staff came forward to donate blood. However due to low/high haemoglobin, blood pressure and other medical conditions, some could not donate. In all 61 volunteers including 10 females and 8 staff members donated blood and helped save many lives.
