Report of webinar organized by IIC titled ‘My Story – Motivational Session by Successful innovator:3D Cake Making Machine: Dr Suraj Marathe
Institution Innovation Council of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized a webinar on “My Story –Motivational Session by Successful innovator”, on 10 January 2022. It was attended by more than 80 participants of colleges which included students and faculty. The faculty coordinator Mr. Sanjeel Naik started the session with a warm welcome to all the attendees, introduced the DBCE IIC, and gave an overview of its’ function & activities. He then introduced the guest speakers. The session was delivered by speaker Dr. Suraj Marathe – Assistant Professor at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda.
The session started with Dr. Marathe telling about the concept generation and the various data collection methods that were required to generate the machine. The methodology and the work carried out in developing the prototype was explained by the speaker. A working video of the cake machine was also demonstrated where the audience could see the different parts and mechanism of the machine. The speaker also encouraged the students to develop their own ideas and enhance their creativity.
The session ended with a Q&A session, allowing the participants to clarify their doubts about entrepreneurship. The vote of thanks was given by student coordinator Mr. Bradley Rodrigues.
