Republic Day 2018

The Republic Day was celebrated at Don Bisco Colleg of Engineering, on the 26th of January 2018. It began with the esteemed Chief Guest, Er. Thomas D’Costa, unfurling the National Flag.
The Director, Fr. Kinley D’ Cruz addressed the gathering with an inspirational speech. A final year computer student accompanied by a third year ETC student rendered a beautiful song.
The Principal , Dr. Neena Panandikar introduced the chief guest. The Chief Guest Er. Thomas D’Costa gave a motivating speech to the audience. In his address , the chief guest spoke on how important Engineers are in this age of innovation and change. He also stated that as engineers they can make a difference to the development of this country. A floral tribute was presented to the Chief Guest by the Rector, Fr. Paul D’Souza.
The function ended with a Vote of Thanks given by a final year computer student Ms. Blossom Fernandes who also compered the function.
