Republic Day 2019

The 70^th Republic Day was celebrated at our college premises on the 26th of January 2019. It began at 8:45 am with our esteemed Chief Guest, Engineer Mahendra  Caculo, unfurling the National Flag. Also present on the occasion was our Rector  Fr. Paul D’Souza,  Director Fr. Kinley D’ Cruz, Administrator Fr. Julius, CEO of FIRE, Mr D.S. Prashant, and Our Registrar Dr. Kala Nayak .

Our Director, Fr. Kinley D’ Cruz addressed the gathering highlighting the president’s speech. This was followed by a beautiful patriotic song rendered by a Second Year Civil student Sampada Naik.

Prof. Natasha introduced the chief guest Engineer Mr. Mahindra Caculo.

Engineer Mr. Mahendra  Caculo gave a motivating speech to the audience. In his address the chief guest spoke on how our country has developed and advanced in the field of science and technology, infrastructure and many more. He also spoke on the Fundamental Rights. He also stated that as engineers they can make a difference to the development of this country. A floral tribute was presented to the Chief Guest by Director Fr. Kinley D’ Cruz and our Rector, Fr. Paul D’Souza presented a memento as a token of appreciation.

The function ended with a Vote of Thanks given by our General Secretary Sherwin Dourado. The function was compered by our final year computer student Caesar D’Silva.
