ROBOCOM at NIT, Goa – SAAVYAS

The Robotics Club, ROBOCOM, of our college  under the mentorship of Prof. Flavia Leitao, Robotics Club Coordinator, participated for a three day Technical event SAAVYAS at NIT, Goa, on 12th, 13th and 14th April 2024.

NIT, Goa illuminated its campus with the vibrant spirit of creativity during “Saavayas,” a dynamic fusion of technical prowess and cultural vibrancy. This event provided a captivating platform for colleges far and wide to unite and showcase their exceptional talent, fostering an atmosphere of innovation, collaboration, and celebration.

Team Robocom truly stole the spotlight at the tech fest with their remarkable performance in the Prompt-A-Thon event. Yash Kochrekar and Vivek Bobade exhibited sheer wizardry in prompt engineering, showcasing their mastery over AI technology. Their skill propelled them to seize the coveted 1st place, leaving a trail of awe and admiration in their wake.

Preston Dsilva and his team proved their mettle on the soccer field during the intense Robo Rumbling competition, securing a commendable 4^th place finish. With synchronized precision and strategic maneuvers, they navigated the challenges of the game, showcasing the seamless synergy between man and machine.

Yash Kochrekar and Piyush Suthar, leading the Coding Gang, unleashed their coding prowess at the Bit Bash event, breezing through intricate puzzles with lightning speed. Their fingers danced across the keyboard, effortlessly deciphering complex algorithms and solving brain-teasing challenges. Their remarkable performance which led them to the finals was a memorable learning experience setting a high standard for coding excellence.

Team Robocom once again dazzled the audience at the Key Blitz competition, where they showcased their exceptional typing prowess with finesse and precision. With lightning-fast fingers flying across the keyboard, they demonstrated an unparalleled mastery of the art of typing.

The NIT Saavyas event was truly an exhilarating and dynamic experience for everyone involved, creating a buzz of anticipation and excitement among the participants. Their hard work, dedication, and perseverance shone through in their remarkable achievements, inspiring all who witnessed their accomplishment. Their journey was not just about winning accolades but also about the invaluable lessons they gained along the way.
