Second Year students Visit residential house

On  28^th   September  2019  a  site  visit  was  organised  for  second  year  Civil Engineering  students  of  Don  Bosco  College  of  Engineering  by  Prof.  Kaushik  Pai  Fondekar  and  Prof.  Starina Dias.

The Students visited a  Duplex  Bungalow  where they got an opportunity to see  stacking of  cement  bags  that were  protected  from  dampness, Open Newel Staircase , Bay windows ,Fly  Ash  bricks  that were  provided  for  partition walls ,Sunken  slab  used in  bathroom  for  plumbing  purpose ,overlapped  TMT  bars  extending  from  the  columns  were  observed. They also got an opportunity to see internal plastering  that was being completed  and  external plastering  that was  in  progress.

In all 59 students visited the site.
