SEEDS 2023-2024 Valedictory

The Department of Science and Humanities’ SEEDS – First Year Students’ Association, held its Valedictory function on 27^th April 2024. Mr. Suhas Godse, Retd. Professor in Zoology, and President of Vidnyan Parishad, Goa, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The programme was graced by, Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal; Dr. Kala Nayak, Registrar and HoD, Mrs. Vaishali Parakhi and Ms. Carol Cardozo, SEEDS faculty Coordinators and Mr. Reeve Fernandes, SEEDS Chairperson, on the dais. The theme for this year was “Engineering a Sustainable Future”.

A round up of all the events was screened and presented by the Chairperson, through a display of events organised in the fields of Coding, Visual Artistry, Photography, Mathematics and Stage Performance. Dr. Neena Panandikar welcomed the gathering which was followed by Mr. Godse’s address. He spoke about his involvement in sustainability-positive works, and in his message reiterated the life of various Indian Scientists and their hard work. This was followed by certificate distribution for individual events by Dr. Kala Nayak, and Vote of Thanks by Ms. Gretchen Pereira, thanking the dignitaries, organisers and attendees. The final results of ECO-FIT 2024 and SEEDS 2023-24 were announced by MrAsst. Prof.  Harison Cota, Deputy HoD Sc & Hum, naming FE Mechanical and Civil as the Runners Up for EcoFit, and FE Computer I as the winners of the same, while FE ECS were declared the winners of SEEDS 2023-24.
