SEEDS- Valedictory
The final event for SEEDS 2018-19 was held on 23rd March 2019.
The Highlight of the event was the workshops held for the students of National Open School – Loyola-Navelim. The students were introduced to various concepts on Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Drawing, and Craft and also witnessed sessions in the language Laboratory. These sessions were conducted by the students of First year, Don Bosco College of Engineering-Fatorda. The purpose of this event was to create social awareness as part of community initiative on imparting quality education to all walks of life. The students from National Open School – Loyola-Navelim enjoyed the sessions and impressed upon the organisers that they would wish to visit Don Bosco College of Engineering-Fatorda in the future for more workshops.
The students of first year at Don Bosco College of Engineering-Fatorda took part in competitions such as: Poster making, Clay Modelling, Flameless Cooking, Best out of waste, News Channel anchoring, Motivational talk and Talent round.
The event ended with a valedictory function graced by the presence of Fr. Paul D’Souza-Rector, Fr. Kinley D’cruz-Director, Dr. Neena Panandikar-Principal, Dr. Kala Nayak-Registrar & Head of Department of Science & Humanities.
Dr. Neena Panandikar in her address to the students encouraged them to start materialising their dreams from the first year itself.
Rev. Fr. Kinley D’cruz impressed upon the students to invoke the passion within them to achieve their dreams.
Certificates and prizes were then distributed to the students for their impressive participation during the events for SEEDS.
FE Computers were declared the winners for SEEDS 2018-19 and were handed over the trophy at the hands of Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Nikhil Chinchawade. The comperes for the event were Ms. Berny Dias, Ms. Anchita Maity , Ms. Neha Joshi, Mr. Lysander Fernandes and Mr. Tanishq Kulkarni.
