Session on Application of Geographic information system (GIS) and Remote sensing in Civil Engineering under Vidnyan Dhara 2024

Dr. Shwetha Prasanna, Associate Professor and Head of Civil Engineering Department (DBCE) delivered a lecture on Application of Geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing in Civil Engineering to the students of Keshav Smruti Bal Vikas Mandir and Vidhya Vihar High School, Thana-Cortalim, Vasco, under Vidnyan Dhara 2024, a mega science series aimed at fostering scientific inquiry among young minds. Dr. Shwetha Prasanna interacted with the students and discussed the importance, objectives, principles and applications of GIS and remote sensing with them. The core goal of Vidnyan Dhara 2024 is to inspire and motivate students and educators from diverse disciplines, steering them towards the wonders of science.
