Stepping Into The Real World

The Computer Engineering Department in association with C-Codes organized seminar on 2^nd July 2024. The topic of the session was “Stepping into the real world”. The speaker, Mr. Vadiraj Inamdar, Software engineer from Hotelhub company began the session with the quote “Opportunity doesn’t make appointments, you have to be ready when it arrives”. The aim of the session was to understand one’s motto and how to get placed in various companies. He spoke about companies which come for placement in the college as well as of the MOUs of the college with some of the companies.

He made the audience understand the process of getting placed and stressed about the importance of LinkedIn and connecting with others in the field. He also, thoroughly explained how to tackle the various rounds during the selection process, which are (i) Aptitude (ii) Technical Round and (iii) HR Round.

He spoke about how one should behave on the day of the interview. He said that one should be well prepared and be calm for the interview. He also gave a gist of the post-placement journey after getting placed in a company.

Towards the conclusion he gave a brief description of his journey and ended the session by the quote “Success is not final; failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts”. Dr. Gaurang S Patkar organized the event.
