Third Year Computer engineering students attended a talk on “Unravelling Bitcoin” on the 11th February 2025. The talk was organized through C-CODES coordinated by Prof. Merwyn D’Souza.

The resource person for this informative session was Mr Wilbur Fernandes, Mr Aaren and Mr Nigel from Plebs Together Strong. The speakers covered various aspects of Bitcoin, including its definition, functionality, purpose, and the concept of Bitcoin mining. They provided a comprehensive overview, explaining how Bitcoin operates as a decentralized digital currency, its role in financial transactions, and the mining process that ensures security and transaction verification. Additionally, they shared valuable resources for further learning.
