TE Computer Attend FPV Multitotors (Drones) Seminar

The Department of Computer Engineering in association with C codes organised a seminar on FPV multitotors (drones) on September 28 , 2019 . The seminar was conducted by Akshay Saraf , an alumnus of  2018 batch. The faculty coordinator of this seminar was Prof. Merwyn D’Souza. The student coordinators were Pooja Lolienkar and Rutvija Naik from TE Computer.

Different types of drones

  1. Photography drones-various speed and cameras. Speed is 96km/hr. It used to take shots of racing cars.Heavy duty drones are costly and can carry 2.5kg
  2. Toy drones
  3. Delivery drones
  4. Hobby drones
  5. Ornithopter looks like birds
  6. Military drones are weapon delivery drones.It has a flight time of 8 hours and can carry
  7. 200kg.

Different parts of drones

  1. Standard Propellers. Pusher Propellers. …
  2. Brushless Motors.
  3. Landing Gear.
  4. Electronic Speed Controllers.
  5. Flight Controller.
  6. The Receiver.
  7. The Transmitter.

It was followed by an interactive question and answer session. A drone demonstration was held for the students on the college football ground.
