Technical session on GGBS & Sustainability
The Civil Engineering Department of Don Bosco College of Engineering Fatorda, ICI Student Chapter in Collaboration with JSW Cements Ltd. Goa organized a technical talk on GGBS & Sustainability on 10th March 2025
The function was declared open by watering of a planted pot. The Faculty Advisor of the student chapter Asst. Prof. Shruti Jambhale introduced the speaker of the session Mr. Akshay Mane, Techno Sales Officer, JSW Cement Ltd, Goa to the audience.
The session started with a brief about the JSW Company and the speaker then covered the manufacturing process, uses and application of GGBS and its sustainability with respect to construction industry.
The talk was organized for Third and Final year Civil Engineering Students. In total 63 students attended the talk in addition to faculty members. The function concluded with appreciation and vote of thanks to the speaker and the participants.
