The 4th World Invention Innovation Contest, WiC 2018

Asia Invention Association (AIA) and Korea Invention News (KINEWS) organized the World Invention Innovation Contest, WiC 2018 for the first time to provide opportunities for students, inventors, innovators and research scientists to express their creativity and the innovative ability to invent through their novel ideas, recognizing the vital significance of world innovation and raise inventors continuous initiative to invent.

After a review of his submitted application of “AUTOMATED GRADING OF OIL PALM FRUITS USING SOFT COMPUTING”, Prof. Gaurang Patkar was declared a Gold medalist to attend the Award Ceremony on June 2-3rd at the Convention Center of Chung Mu Art Hall in Seoul, South Korea. He was also awarded by Special award of Asia Invention Creativity Award. It is a proud moment for all Goans and Indians, since he was the only one representing India.
