The session on Introduction to BIM (Building Information Modelling) for Civil Students

On the August 31, 2023, the Civil Engineering Students Association of Don Bosco College of Engineering Fatorda organized a session for the students of second and third year. The resource person was Prof. B. R. Anirudha.

The session was conducted on Introduction to BIM (Building Information Modelling), Prof. Anirudha explained the different areas in which the BIM is used and informed the students the different software used for different works. He spoke about the different levels of BIM, from architectural drawings to making of models and then to designing the same by a structural designer. The concept was very interesting and inspired many students to look more into its concepts.

The students were grateful to Prof. B. R. Anirudha for taking time out and explaining the concepts well, the session was truly interactive and was much needed considering the advances in the construction industry.
