Webinar on ‘Industry 4.0: Changing shape of Businesses and Job in the age of Automation’

Institution Innovation Council and ECell of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Goa organized a one-day Webinar on August 27, 2021, titled ‘Industry 4.0: Changing shape of Businesses and Jobs in the Age of Automation’. Mrs. Avila Naik, ECell Convenor and IIC Member started the session with a warm welcome to all the attendees, introduced the DBCE IIC, and introduced the guest speaker. The session was delivered by Guest Speaker Mr. Abhinav Mishra – Founder & Director of Products, Research, Modelling & Analytics Value3 Advisory.

The session was quite interactive. He initially spoke about his career journey in detail. Mr. Abhinav Mishra mentioned all his highs and lows in his journey from an engineer to an entrepreneur. He mentioned the skills that are required by any individual to pursue their dreams. He said, “Inculcate intellectual curiosity and prepare a career graph to create a value”. He described how the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robots have now taken over the world , and how it is only going to be an upslope in this field henceforth. He gave an example of Amazon and how it evolved as a company and has since adapted to the AI revolution in its early stages to obtain great heights today.

The session ended with a Q&A session, allowing the participants to interact with Mr. Abhinav openly. Student Coordinator Ms. Sheena Mashelkar gave the vote of thanks.
