Webinar on – ‘Preparation for UPSC Exam’

The Training and Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering arranged a webinar on Preparation for UPSC Exam the as a part of the webinar series on Higher Studies & Competitive Exams after Engineering for students of Don Bosco College of Engineering of all years and all branches. The talk was organized on Sunday, 30^th August 2020 on Google Meet from 10 AM to 12 Noon.

The talk was delivered by Mr. Aniket Wanve, IFS and Dr. Sneha Gitte, IAS. Mr. Aniket Wanve is in Indian Forest Services (IFS) from 2019 batch. He is an alumni of Vidyalakar Institute of technology, Mumbai of 2015 batch and holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Electronics & telecommunication branch. Dr. Sneha Gitte cracked is in Indian Administrative Services (IAS). She holds a MBBS degree from NAIR hospital and college and passed out in 2016.

The speakers spoke about various options available in civil services. They spoke in depth about the preparation for the UPSC exam and also shared their personal experiences. The speakers also shed light on the exam sections and interview procedure. The students asked many questions and got their queries solved by the speakers. Speakers suggested that students to read newspapers every day and know current affairs. The webinar was concluded by Dr. Shreyas Simu and Prof. Avila Naik by thanking the speakers for their valuable time and knowledge shared.
