Workshop on Antenna Design
Antenna Research Group coordinator Prof. Mohini Naik organized a two days’ workshop for the students of Third year and Final year of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering on 21st and 22nd June 2018.
The first session started with the importance of starting this group. She mentioned that students who are part of this group will be able to design antenna system for LTE, 5G wireless communication. The projects done by the students through this group will be published on various peer reviewed journals, conferences etc.
Prof. Mohini Naik engaged the sessions for the workshop. The topics covered during the workshop included basics of Antenna principles, parameters, design of micro strip patch antenna, literature review on the types of antenna used for different applications, antennas used for wireless applications, Roadmap to 5G, Antenna design for 5G. Hands on session were provided for the students.
