  • formats

On March 31, 2023 , the Entrepreneurship Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized an interactive and engaging session on Team Building for the first year students. Aiming to introduce participants to leadership and improve their teamwork, networking, and partnership skills. The event provided an interactive and fun session where attendees had the opportunity to express their views.

The session was led by Mr. Nirmesh Tyagi, a renowned marketing consultant and business strategist. He is an experienced trainer and has been associated with the JCI training academy. His expertise in leadership and team building helped participants gain a fresh perspective on how to foster collaboration and teamwork in their professional lives.

The event started with Mr. Tyagi dividing the participants into 4 teams and giving them tasks that would encourage communication and coordination among team members. The first task was for each team to come up with a unique name, slogan and decide among the team as to who will be the group leader. We were then asked to present the same in unison. Mr. Tyagi guided the participants to work together and overcome any differences we may have had to achieve harmony. To loosen up and have some fun, Mr. Tyagi taught us a small dance routine to the song “Follow the Leader,” which all the teams danced along to and had a lot of fun. He then challenged the teams to create their own choreography for the same song, and perform it before everyone .

The event ended with a brainstorming session where the students were asked to share ideas for future projects as entrepreneurs for the betterment of the college. All the teams came up with some wonderful ideas. Overall, the Team Building event was a tremendous success. Thanks to the efforts of the Entrepreneurship Cell and the speaker; Mr. Tyagi. The event not only provided a platform for participants to learn about leadership and team building, but also helped them to connect with like-minded individuals from different backgrounds. The interactive activities were engaging and insightful, leaving participants with a new perspective on the value of teamwork and collaboration. Summing it up, the Team Building event was a wonderful experience that highlighted the importance of working together towards a common goal.
