FIELD VISIT TO INDIA ENERGY WEEK 2024
The final-year Electronics and Telecommunication students of our college (DBCE) visited India Energy Week 2024 at IPSHEM-ONGC Training Institute, Betul, on February 9th, 2024. They were accompanied by Prof. Trima Fernandes e Fizardo, Assistant Professor of the Electronics and Telecommunication Department.
The India Energy Week exhibition serves as an unparalleled platform for both domestic and international energy business concerns to network, showcase their products and services, and explore new opportunities in the energy sector. After registration, we embarked on a tour of the exhibits.
In Hall 1, we encountered a diverse range of showcases, including the safety SAGA of IPSHEM, featuring AR-VR technology, and Ecoverse, a game illustrating the race to net zero. The Indian Oil 2G ethanol plant, Smart Energy Home, and presentations by companies like ExxonMobil and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited were also highlighted.
Hall 2 provided insights into companies like MOL (India) Pvt. Ltd., Petronet LNG Limited, and Sterling and Wilson Pvt. Ltd. The discussion revolved around the integration of telecommunications in shipping and logistics, LNG technology advancements, and innovations in industrial fire safety systems, all of which are crucial components in the modern energy landscape.
In Hall 3, RMZ Oilfield Engineering Pvt. Ltd. showcased their expertise in designing and manufacturing oilfield products, emphasizing the role of telecommunications in remote monitoring and control systems for oil exploration and production. Additionally, exhibitors like Sparky Technology Pvt. Ltd. highlighted the application of electronics in energy-efficient solutions.
The visit offered an invaluable opportunity for students to witness firsthand the cutting-edge advancement and innovation driving the energy sector forward.
