Blood Donation Camp held at DBCE

The NSS unit our college (DBCE) in association with Blood Bank, Hospicio, Margao conducted a blood donation camp in the institute premises on 2nd May 2024. A six member team headed by Dr. Ravin Rego from Hospicio Blood Bank visited the institute for the blood collection. Also present was Asst. Prof. Harison Cota, NSS Program Officer, DBCE. Altogether 56 students and staff volunteered to donate blood. However, due to restrictions of low/high haemoglobin, blood pressure and other medical conditions, in all, 37 volunteers including 10 females and 6 staff members donated blood and helped save many lives.
