POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

1st Place – Clarita De Souza – TE_Civil

A Poster Making Competition on Voting Awareness was organised at our college. The main goal of the competition was to promote the importance of voting and create voter awareness among the students.

The event was organized by the NSS Unit and Electoral Literacy Club of the college. It was open to all the students at DBCE, and they had the chance to showcase their creativity through digital posters. The themes for the competition were, There is hope with One VOTE, Your VOTE, Your Voice; Make your VOTE count, I VOTE for sure; My VOTE matters; and Right to VOTE.

2nd Place – Ruben Rodrigues – TE Civil

To participate, students had to register using a provided link and submit their entries by May 6th, 2024. The judges for the competition were Mr. Sumeet Naik and Mr. Roland Gomes, and they had the tough task of selecting the winners.

Speaking of winners, at the first place we had Clarita De Souza (TE Civil) Ruben Rodrigues (TE Civil) in second place, and Aatish Verenkar (TE Mechanical) in third place. Congratulations to them!

The coordinators of the event were Mr. Harison Cota, NSS PO, and Ms. Mancia Lobo from the Electoral Literacy Club.
