Constitution Day Celebration

Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, celebrated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) on 26th November 2024, with great enthusiasm and participation from students and faculty. The event was organized to honour the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to instil its principles among students.

Activities Conducted:

  1. Constitutional Pledge:
    All first-year students participated in the recital of the Constitutional pledge. The pledge, led by class teachers, served as a reminder of the fundamental duties and values enshrined in the Constitution of India.
  2. Digital Poster-Making Competition – Chronicles: Stories Through Art:
    A creative competition was organized by the Department of Science & Humanities, coordinated by Ms. Carol Cardozo, as part of the celebrations, encouraging students to depict key principles of the Constitution such as justice, liberty, and equality through digital posters. Participants showcased their creativity and storytelling skills through impactful visual presentations.

The event witnessed active participation from first-year students. Winners of the poster-making competition are to be announced at the SEEDS Valedictory function. The celebration of Constitution Day successfully reminded students of the importance of the Indian Constitution and its guiding values. The event fostered awareness, creativity, and patriotism, ensuring active involvement from the participants.
