DBCE Participates in Women’s Powerlifting

The Women’s Powerlifting Championship, organized by Goa University, was held from 10th to 12th December 2024 at the Goa University Jubilee Hall. Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, was proudly represented by two talented students: Shravni Ubale and Smita Naik.

Shravni Ubale showcased exceptional strength and determination, winning a silver medal in the above 84kg category, bringing pride to the college with her remarkable performance. Smita Naik participated in the 69kg category, putting up a commendable effort and gaining valuable experience at the event.

This participation highlights the dedication and skill of our athletes, contributing to the growing legacy of our college in inter-collegiate sports events. Both students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and perseverance throughout the competition.
