DBCE Participates in Inter-Collegiate Handball Tournament

The Goa University Inter-Collegiate Handball Tournament for men and women was successfully held at the Goa University Ground. The event saw competitive matches as teams from various colleges participated with great enthusiasm.

In the men’s category, Don Bosco College of Engineering faced Rosary College, Navelim, in the pre-quarterfinal match. Despite their efforts, the team was unable to progress further as they lost the match with a score of 14-3.

In the women’s category, the team from Don Bosco College of Engineering started their campaign with a strong performance, securing a 7-2 victory against Chowgule College in the first round. However, in the quarterfinals, they faced a tough challenge against Rosary College, Navelim, and were defeated 6-3, marking the end of their journey in the tournament.

Both teams displayed determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, gaining valuable experience for future competitions
